How can I schedule my appointment online?
You can request an appointment by clicking on "Request an Appointment" at the top right of every page and filling out an online form. A member of our Call Center will call you within 1 business day to give you a specific day and time.

What insurances do you accept?

What are your hours of operation?
The clinic is open between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm from Monday through Friday. Nurses begin answering phone calls at 8:00 am.
What should I do if I miss my appointment?

How do I request my medical records?
Please contact our Medical Records department at (205) 206-8306.
Do I need a physican referral to be seen by a specialist?
This is dependent on your insurance and the specialty, but in general, for most Medicare Advantage (Blue Advantage, AARP Secure Horizons, Cigna Healthspring, Viva Medicare, etc.), Medicaid, and certain commercial insurance plans, yes, you will need a referral. You will need to contact your primary care physician to get the referral done prior to seeing our specialists.
Do I have to have an appointment to be seen by a physician?
Our Adult Primary Care physicians and our Urgent Care nurse practitioner see walk-ins and same day appointments. However, rather than walking in, we strongly encourage you to call our Call Center at (205) 206-8200 so that we can give you a specific time and lessen your wait. For our Pediatrics patients, please call (205) 206-8480 for a same-day appointment. For our specialists, you need to have an appointment as you may require a referral from your primary care physician first - please call our Call Center.
Do you see infants and children?
Simon-Williamson Clinic has a long history of providing quality pediatric care in the Birmingham metropolitan area. Our pediatricians still round on newborns at Princeton, St. Vincent's & Brookwood and provide primary care to children from birth to 18 years of age.
Are you open on the weekends?
Our Pediatricians routinely see urgent care patients on Saturday mornings each week. Over the last couple of years, several of our Adult Primary Care physicians have seen patients on selected Saturday mornings.
